Product Description High Performance Shale Inhibitor SRD-01 is a kind of proved good drilling fluid additives which can be widely applied and has a lot of advantages. SRD-01 is a petroleum sulfonate made water soluble by a unique solvent media process. It contains high water soluble content and a certain amount of oil soluble content. Comparing to normal modified asphalt, SRD-01 contains more absorbing group, so it absorbing on the shale interface through electrical absorption, and shows reasonable anti-sloughing and filtration control property with lower temperature influence. Therefore, it can be applied in various water-base drilling fluids. The recommend dosage is 3.5 - 10.5 ppb.
